The Sonoma County Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) are dedicated to monitoring and sustaining local groundwater levels. Groundwater plays a critical role in supporting agriculture throughout Sonoma County, representing between 30% to 60% of groundwater use in Petaluma Valley, Santa Rosa Plain, and Sonoma Valley.
