How The County Uses The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF)

As of June 30, 2025, the County of Sonoma has obligated the full ARPA-SLFRF funds of $96,018,973 and expended $82,637,418 and 22 projects completed. ARPA-SLFRF funding targeted the areas of:

COVID-19 Public Health Response activities including Mental Health and Substance Use programs, Vaccinations, Testing, Contact Tracing;
Community Negative Economic Impacts including Financial Assistance, Small Business Assistance, Housing Assistance;
Broadband Infrastructure projects; and
Revenue Loss due to COVID-19 for FY2020
